Sound Bath Meditation Classes
Sound waves surround us every second of every day and continue to vibrate endlessly. These sounds are both audible and inaudible to the human senses and is not only perceived by the ear but can be felt in every cell of the physical body.
Sound healing works effectively by triggering the relaxation response (opposite to flight and fight) to alleviate symptoms of chronic stress, releasing suppressed emotions associated with trauma from the past, harmonising the bio-field (aura) and chakras. Natural feel-good hormones (endorphins) are stimulated, and tuning forks help release Nitric Oxide, which has antibacterial and antiviral benefits.
Sound healing/meditation classes, also known as Sound Baths, are an immersive sound experience where sound waves wash over you; an excellent way to relax, reduce stress levels/anxiety whilst promoting a sense of spiritual well-being and wholeness.
Tibetan bowls, gongs, drums, chimes, tuning forks, healing tubes and percussion instruments are played to create healing sound vibrations, inducing a deep meditative state of mind and rebalancing the body’s natural flow of energy. Lay back and allow the vibrations and sounds to calm the mind and restore harmony throughout the physical, mental and spiritual body.
Sound Meditation is also available as an individual session, that is adapted to meet your mind, body and spiritual needs.
Bio:
Zoe has specialised in Massage Therapy for over 23 years and became fascinated with Sound Therapy and Healing whilst studying Reiki, as it complimented her work ethic of healing the mind, body and soul in ways that don’t just involve ‘hands on’ treatment. After attending sound meditations/gong baths, she felt this was her pathway to continue helping others.
Zoe has completed a ‘Sound Healing with Multiple Instruments’ and ‘Healing with Tuning Fork’ courses through the Sound Healing Academy and is now a certified Sound Healer, offering group sound meditation classes and 1-2-1 treatments at Archway.
